Job Overview:

We are looking for a WordPress Web Developer & Designer to revamp and maintain our company websites. Our websites are outdated and need a fresh, modern, and responsive design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for redesigning, developing, optimizing, and maintaining our websites while ensuring they are SEO-friendly and engaging for visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Improve, redesign, or completely rebuild company websites using WordPress.
• Upgrade existing themes or implement new ones for a modern look and feel.
• Ensure websites are fully responsive and optimized for all devices.
• Regularly update website content, announcements, blogs, images, and videos.
• Enhance user experience by designing and integrating website elements.
• Implement basic SEO strategies to improve searchability on Google and Maps.
• Manage domain, hosting, and server-related tasks.
• Maintain digital assets such as images, videos, and documents.
• Ensure smooth integration with social media and other marketing tools.
• Use ChatGPT and AI tools to assist with content generation and ideation.

Compensation:

• Full-time Salary:AED 5,500 per month.
• Part-time Salary:AED 40 per hour.

Employment Terms & Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work.
• NOC from the current employer (if applicable).
• Contract basis for a few months before transitioning into a permanent position.
• A company visa will be provided after the contract period, subject to mutual agreement between both parties.

Work Schedule & Location:

• Full-time: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM (8 hours/day, 5 days a week).
• Part-time: 4 hours/day, 5 days a week (within the 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM bracket)
• In-office work only – No remote work or work-from-home option.

Skills

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in WordPress (Theme customization, Plugins, Basic PHP knowledge).
• Basic digital design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar).
• SEO & Web hosting management (Basic knowledge of Google Search Console & Google Maps SEO).
• Basic content writing for website updates and blogs.
• Asset management (organizing and maintaining images, documents, and videos).
• Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT for content assistance.
• Good English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Experience:2 years in WordPress web development, design, and SEO.

·       A diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience (A university degree in Computer Science is NOT required)

• A portfolio of past work will be highly valued.
