Purpose of the Role: Sales Development -

  • Importer Development for After Market Automotive Spare Parts
  • Target Markets GCC, Middle East & Africa

Working Environment:

  • Part of Automotive Division Sales Team
  • Report Directly to Head of Sales / Directors
  • Frequent travel to meet clients and partners in the East and West African regions.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate customer needs and business requirements.
  • Report Weekly Sales Development

Working Relationships:

  • Team Player
  • Must be ready to fill in and support Team if someone else is in need

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve Sales Monthly Sales Target
  • New Importer Development
  • Monitor and Report Own Sales Vs Target
  • Brand Promotion & Support
  • In Country Importers Dealer Promotions Development and Monitoring
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences specific to Japanese spare parts.
  • Provide recommendations for pricing, promotions, and new product introductions.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure availability and timely delivery of parts.

Product Knowledge

  • KYB, Tokico Shock Absorbers Part Numbers and Application Knowledge & Data is a must
  • Suspension Parts Knowledge for Japanese Vehicles for Manufactures such as 555 and CTR is a must
  • Brake Pads / Discs Knowledge is + Points
  • Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu, Mitsubishi FUSO Part search Knowledge is a MUST through EPC

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Ability to travel extensively across assigned territories in East and West Africa for min 2 – 3 Weeks at a time.
  • Must be able to Sustain Long term and Healthy business Relations with Importers
  • Recommend Financially Stable Customers only for Business
  • Must be able to provide Competitor / Market Information to improve Sales
  • Should be able to suggest Sales Promotion Schemes
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals in East and West Africa.
  • Identify and target potential distributors, workshops, and retailers to expand the customer
  • Weekly Reporting to HOD / Management

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Japanese automotive spare parts and their market demand.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail and strategic vision.
  • Must have Worked with Automotive Spare Part in the After Market in Africa
  • Detailed Knowledge of Japanese OE Manufacturers Brands
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aftermarket automotive spare parts sales, preferably Japanese brands (e.g., Toyota, Nissan, Honda).
  • Must have Information of Sales of Shock Absorbers, Suspension Parts, Brake Pads and Discs
