Role Overview

YOYI is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Business Development Director to lead our expansion efforts in the MENA region. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships with agencies and channel partners, and championing YOYI’s solutions in the travel, hospitality, government and tourism vertical.


This role requires a combination of strategic vision, leadership, and hands-on execution to achieve our business objectives in this high-potential market.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth:

- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate and expand YOYI’s presence in the MENA market.

 

- Identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities through agencies, channel partners and direct client engagements.

 

- Collaborate with the senior management team to align regional goals with YOYI’s global business objectives.

 

Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including advertising agencies, channel partners, and industry leaders.

- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

- Cultivate a deep understanding of partner needs and align them with YOYI’s offerings to maximize mutual success.

Industry Expertise:

- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the travel, hospitality, government and tourism vertical to design and deliver tailored marketing solutions that address client challenges.

- Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies to position YOYI as a leader in the market.

- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance YOYI’s visibility and reputation.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and account management, to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and initiatives.

- Provide market insights and feedback to help shape product development and marketing strategies.

Skills

Qualifications and Requirements.

- At least 8 years of proven experience in business development, sales or related roles, with a strong focus on the MENA region.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

- Fluency in English is required; Proficiency in Arabic / Mandarin or other regional languages is highly advantageous.

- Demonstrated success in managing agencies and channel partnerships, preferably within the travel, hospitality, government and tourism vertical

- Experience in programmatic advertising or digital marketing solutions is a must.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
