The Air Freight Manager plays a critical role in the logistics and supply chain industry, particularly in the shipping and distribution sector. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing air freight operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Responsibilities:
- Starting air freight department from scratch.
- Oversee daily air freight operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs to facilitate smooth transportation of goods.
- Manage and optimize air freight budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.
