A private investment company based in DIFC is looking for a skilled and dynamic individual (only Indian candidates) who can support the company by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting functions for the company and on various investment (stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.) interests of the company’s owner.
- Preparing monthly and annual accounts and financial projections.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborating with auditors during annual audits.
- Understanding of UAE corporate tax and VAT legislation
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal tax laws
- Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Skills
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA qualification, Certified Chartered Accountant CA or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years accounting/finance experience
- Strong understanding of accounting theory and knowledge of tax laws
- Proficiency in use of accounting systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
