Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Direct and manage large-scale marine infrastructure projects such as offshore platforms, port terminals, dredging works, breakwaters, or subsea pipelines.
- Provide strategic direction to project teams to ensure goals and milestones are met.
- Act as the principal point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Planning & Execution:
- Oversee project planning, including scope, schedule, budget, risk assessment, and resource planning.
- Ensure effective execution of marine construction methodologies, mobilization plans, and marine logistics.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams for timely completion of technical deliverables.
- Contract & Commercial Management:
- Manage contract negotiations, variations, claims, and commercial risks.
- Monitor budgets, cost performance, and profitability metrics.
- Approve procurement strategies and major purchase orders.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local/international marine regulations, environmental laws, and safety standards (e.g., IMO, MARPOL).
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to project-specific HSE plans.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, marine operations staff, and support personnel.
- Foster a collaborative environment across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Manage relationships with port authorities, maritime consultants, government agencies, and environmental organizations.
- Conduct progress meetings and report regularly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Skills
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree/Master Degree
· Have experience in ADNOC
· Have experience in Marine Infrastructure
