Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics markets.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their logistics needs
- Prepare and present competitive freight quotations, and negotiate to close deals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Monitor ongoing shipments and ensure customer satisfaction post-service.
- Generate regular sales reports and analyse market trends and competitors.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to expand market reach.
- Stay updated on global and regional logistics trends, freight rates, and customs regulations.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping (air, sea, land) and supply chain solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Fluent in English and Arabic
