Business Development Executive – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics markets. 
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their logistics needs 
  • Prepare and present competitive freight quotations, and negotiate to close deals.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services 
  • Monitor ongoing shipments and ensure customer satisfaction post-service.
  • Generate regular sales reports and analyse market trends and competitors.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to expand market reach.
  • Stay updated on global and regional logistics trends, freight rates, and customs regulations.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping (air, sea, land) and supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
