Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations of our salon. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the beauty industry, skilled in team leadership, and capable of ensuring a high-quality customer experience while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
  • Train, and supervise stylists, beauticians, and other salon staff.
  • Create and manage staff schedules.
  • Monitor performance and conduct regular team meetings and evaluations.

• Customer Service:
  • Ensure excellent customer service is consistently provided.
  • Handle client complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Monitor and improve client satisfaction and retention.

• Salon Operations:
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the salon.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment; order stock as needed.

• Sales & Marketing:
  • Promote salon services and products through in-store promotions and local marketing.
  • Work with the marketing team to implement campaigns, loyalty programs, and social media strategies.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

• Financial Management:
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expenses.
  • Prepare reports for management/owners.
  • Manage payroll and ensure accurate timesheets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar leadership role in the beauty industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of salon services, products, and current beauty trends.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Proficient in basic business software (POS systems, scheduling software, Excel, etc.).

Preferred:

• Certification in Cosmetology or Beauty Therapy (optional, depending on location)
• Experience with salon software (e.g., Fresha, Vagaro, Mindbody)
• Sales or marketing experience in a salon or retail environment

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced and customer-facing.
• Requires standing for long periods.
• May require evening or weekend shifts depending on salon hours.
