We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles specific to the energy sector and a proven track record of managing complex financial reporting and compliance tasks. Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. - Manage month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions and reconcile general ledger accounts. - Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure adherence to financial controls and audit requirements. - Develop and implement accounting procedures and best practices to improve efficiency. - Monitor budgetary commitments and support forecasting activities. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare related documentation. - Support financial analysis and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA qualification preferred. - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas sector. - Strong knowledge of IFRS and local financial regulations in the UAE. - Proficiency with accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
