We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join our dynamic team in the financial auditing sector. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of auditing principles and practices, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit services to our diverse clientele, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing client relationships. You will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising junior staff, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. Experience:
- Experienced in reviewing data for preparation of VAT returns to identify anomalies/potential errors that need to be investigated.
- Experience in preparation and filing of UAE VAT returns.
- Experienced in handling preparation, filing, and following up on VAT refund applications.
- Experienced in conducting VAT health checks.
- Experienced in supporting clients to respond to FTA/Tax authorities for the queries/information asked by them from clients during the audit
proceedings.
- Experienced in research on tax matters.
- Experienced in preparing proposals.
Other Attributes:
- Able to plan, monitor, and complete the tasks to provide timely deliverables.
- Ability to work on multiple engagements and ensure timely deliverables.
Requirements:
- A minimum experience in UAE VAT.
- Experience handling Excise and Custom matters in the UAE/GCC would be an added advantage.
- Candidate should have ACA/ACCA/CPA/CTA Qualifications.
- Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
- Understanding of how ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Navision, Sun Systems) work and how to manage data efficiently is desirable.
- Excellent English communication skills, both speaking and writing.
