Role Summary
The Sitecore Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital applications built on the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP/XM). The role requires a strong understanding of CMS and DXP concepts, delivering scalable, personalized, and high-performing web solutions. The developer will work closely with designers, business analysts, and QA teams to implement Sitecore solutions aligned with business and customer experience objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure websites and web applications using Sitecore XP/XM (v9.x / v10.x).
- Develop and maintain Sitecore components, templates, renderings, layouts, and pipelines.
- Apply Helix-based architecture principles for modular and scalable development.
- Integrate Sitecore with external platforms (CRM, ERP, DAM, APIs, or marketing automation systems).
- Customize Sitecore workflows, content publishing processes, and user roles.
- Participate in Sitecore upgrades, migrations, and environment deployments.
- Collaborate with UI/UX and front-end teams to integrate visual components and ensure responsive design.
- Implement personalization and analytics features within the DXP ecosystem.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize Sitecore applications for performance, scalability, and content efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4–8 years of total software development experience with 3+ years in Sitecore projects.
- Solid understanding of CMS/DXP platforms and web content management concepts.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Sitecore XP/XM (v9.x / v10.x)
- C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
- SQL Server for content and data management
- Experience with Helix architecture, SXA, or Headless (JSS) preferred.
- Exposure to Sitecore Experience Editor, Personalization, and Analytics features.
- Experience with API integrations, Azure DevOps, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Sitecore Developer Certification is an advantage.
