What You’ll Do:


  • Develop and test healthy, flavorful recipes using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Experiment with global cuisines to create a diverse and exciting menu.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and storage while maintaining top hygiene and quality standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ingredient sourcing, and stock levels.
  • Work closely with a small, collaborative team to bring new ideas to life.
  • Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene regulations.


Who You Are:


  • A qualified Chef with a culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in creating healthy, clean, and balanced meals.
  • Knowledgeable about nutritional value, portioning, and food safety.
  • Creative, organized, and enthusiastic about trying new things.
  • A strong communicator who thrives in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with HACCP and Dubai Municipality certification standards.

Skills

Culinary & Technical Skills


  • Expertise in preparing healthy, balanced meals using fresh and natural ingredients.
  • Strong knowledge of global cuisines — especially Middle Eastern, Asian, African, and international fusion.
  • Ability to adapt recipes to different dietary needs (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, allergen-sensitive).
  • Excellent knife skills, portion control, and plating techniques.
  • Solid understanding of nutrition principles and food science.
  • Proven experience with menu development and recipe scaling.
  • Knowledge of batch cooking, freezing methods, and food preservation techniques while maintaining nutritional value.



Operational Skills


  • Strong understanding of HACCP and Dubai Municipality food safety regulations.
  • Experience managing kitchen workflows, ingredient sourcing, and inventory.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and organization in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Comfortable with quality control procedures and maintaining consistency across production.
