• Data input: Accurately enter sales data, customer information, and other details into databases, spreadsheets, and other software.
• Data verification: Review and double-check entered data to correct errors and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Database management: Update and maintain customer accounts, sales records, and other relevant datasets.
• File management: Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files for easy retrieval and access.
• Reporting: Generate reports based on the data that has been entered and maintained.
• Processing transactions: Handle and process sales-related transactions, such as sales invoices. 

Required skills and qualifications

• Typing skills: High typing speed (e.g., minimum 40 WPM) and accuracy are essential.
• Software proficiency: Knowledge of database, spreadsheet (like MS Excel), and word processing software is necessary.
