OverviewFlynn & Chase is supporting a major sovereign investment institution in Dubai in hiring an AVP-level professional to strengthen its Portfolio Analytics and Investment Support division. The organisation oversees a globally diversified portfolio across both public and private markets, spanning listed securities, alternatives, private equity, direct investments and fund commitments. This role sits at the core of the investment function—supporting portfolio construction, allocation decisions, risk measurement, and performance attribution across multi-asset exposures.Key Responsibilities:Provide analytical support across public and private market portfolios, including valuation reviews, liquidity analysis, and capital allocation modelling Lead portfolio monitoring, performance measurement, stress testing, scenario analysis and risk reporting Work with investment teams to assess exposures, benchmark alignment, sector mixes, and optimisation opportunities Build dashboards, investment reports, and presentations for senior leadership and committees Support portfolio construction frameworks, asset allocation processes, and investment governance Maintain data quality, portfolio systems, manager information, and oversight of internal controls Coordinate with external managers, consultants, custodians and internal stakeholders across investment functionsCandidate Requirements5–8 years of experience in asset management, sovereign wealth, institutional investing, or advisory (public + private markets exposure is essential) Strong understanding of portfolio analytics, risk frameworks, performance attribution, benchmarking and liquidity analysis Solid quantitative and technical capabilities, including modelling, Excel, Bloomberg, and portfolio systems (e.g., Aladdin, Eikon, CAMRA, or similar) Experience working with multi-asset portfolios and fund structures (equities, fixed income, PE/VC funds, alternatives, real assets) Clear communication skills and ability to produce high-quality investment materials for senior stakeholders Based in Dubai or fully committed to relocating CFA/CQF or similar credentials preferredOpportunity Join one of the UAE’s most prominent investment institutions with global exposure Work across both public and private markets with strong visibility to leadership Strategic mid-office role shaping portfolio construction and investment analytics Long-term career development in a high-governance, well-capitalised environment Competitive tax-free compensation and benefit
