Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Diagnose and manage various musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and monitor treatment plans effectively.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation processes.
- Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and interventions to enhance patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and trainees in the department.
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote awareness of rehabilitation services.
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Preferred Candidate:
- Medical degree with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
