Factory Helper – Job Description
Position Summary:
The Factory Helper supports daily production operations by assisting machine operators, preparing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth workflow inside the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators in loading and unloading materials
- Prepare raw materials such as paper rolls, inks, and packaging items
- Help in sorting, stacking, and packing finished products (e.g., paper cups, printed materials)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow safety procedures and factory guidelines
- Move materials within the factory using manual or basic equipment
- Support in basic machine cleaning or setup under supervision
- Report any issues or damaged materials to the supervisor
- Perform general labor tasks as needed to support production

- Physically fit and able to lift, move, and carry materials
- Basic understanding of factory safety protocols
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Experience in printing or manufacturing (optional but an advantage)
Work Environment:
- Factory-based, fast-paced environment
- May require standing for long periods
- Shift work depending on production demand
Skills
Core Skills
- Ability to assist in operating paper cup forming and printing machines
- Basic understanding of production flow in a paper cup line
- Knowledge of handling paper rolls, lids, sleeves, and packaging materials
- Skills in sorting, counting, and packing finished cups accurately
- Ability to check for basic product defects (printing misalignment, cup shape issues)
Physical & Practical Skills
- Physically fit; able to lift bundles of paper or finished products
- Ability to stand for long hours during shifts
- Good hand–eye coordination for fast packing and stacking
- Basic housekeeping and cleanliness maintenance around machines
Technical & Safety Skills
- Basic knowledge of safety rules in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow instructions for machine cleaning and simple adjustments
- Understanding of how to properly dispose of waste materials
- Awareness of quality control basics (checking size, print, sealing quality)
Soft Skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Fast learner, especially with machine setup and factory routines
- Ability to work well with machine operators and other team members
- Flexibility to assist wherever needed—packing, loading, or cleaning
