We are looking for a Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to lead and deliver construction projects — mainly residential villas — from tender stage to final handover. The ideal candidate is a civil engineer with strong site experience, technical judgment, and the ability to manage contractors, consultants, timelines, and budgets. This role requires hands-on supervision, problem-solving on site, and full ownership of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, QS reports, and technical submissions.
- Evaluate tender bids and support contractor selection.
- Supervise site works and ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, progress reports, and variation documentation.
- Follow up on approvals, inspections, material submissions, and site instructions.
- Present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years experience in construction project management (villa projects preferred).
- Strong technical understanding of architectural, and MEP coordination.
- Proven experience leading site works and managing contractors.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English.
- Strong reporting, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in project management tools.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- UAE Resident (Abu Dhabi preferred).
- PMP certification is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to commute or relocate to Abu Dhabi before starting work.
