Company is the leading distributor in the Middle East, representing 20+ global brands across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and other regional markets.
The are launching a Premium Pet Products Division, targeting the rapidly growing segment of affluent GCC pet owners seeking high-quality, innovative pet care solutions.
The Marketing Manager will lead brand building, market positioning, digital activation, and retail marketing for the new division across the GCC.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
• Build the brand strategy for the premium pet division, including positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
• Develop brand guidelines, visual identity, and tone of voice.
• Conduct consumer research and competitive analysis across GCC markets.
• Ensure consistent brand representation across all channels and touchpoints.
Campaign Management & Communications
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, PR, and events.
• Manage product launches and seasonal campaigns aligned with GCC buying calendars.
• Develop content for social, email, web, and advertising materials.
• Work with media agencies to deliver ROI-positive advertising.
• Track campaign KPIs and optimize based on performance.
Retail Marketing & Merchandising
• Build in-store marketing programs, promotions, and POS materials.
• Support retail partners with product training and marketing collateral.
• Develop retail marketing calendars and merchandising guidelines.
• Oversee packaging design and ensure strong shelf impact.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
• Lead digital strategy including social media, email, and content marketing.
• Manage e-commerce presence on platforms like Amazon, Noon, and regional marketplaces.
• Drive community engagement and online brand visibility.
• Optimize product listings for conversion and search performance.
• Analyze digital metrics and implement continuous improvements.
Consumer Insights & Market Research
• Understand pet owner behavior, preferences, and purchasing patterns in GCC.
• Track competitor positioning, campaigns, and category trends.
• Analyze customer feedback, reviews, and sentiment.
• Convert insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
• Set KPIs and build dashboards to monitor brand, engagement, and campaign performance.
• Track ROI and manage marketing budgets.
• Provide regular insights and reports to leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Align with Sales on channel priorities and revenue goals.
• Work with Product Development on launches and feature communications.
• Coordinate with Retail Operations on inventory-linked promotions.
• Collaborate with international brand partners on joint campaigns.
Skills
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 5–9 years of marketing experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in brand building, integrated marketing, and consumer engagement.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, or luxury consumer goods preferred.
• Strong digital and e-commerce marketing capability.
• Excellent communication and content development skills.
• Competence in analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in pet care or adjacent premium consumer categories.
• Knowledge of GCC consumer behavior and retail dynamics.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, marketing automation, CMS tools.
• Experience in digital advertising (Meta, Google, Instagram).
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
