Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ELV Engineer to oversee and lead all Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems across our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical coordination, design review, and execution of ELV works, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated and efficient ELV solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of all ELV systems, including but not limited to security, telecommunications, audio-visual, building automation, and data networks.
- Review project designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure technical feasibility, compliance, and optimization of ELV systems.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, contractors, and client representatives to integrate ELV systems seamlessly into overall project delivery.
- Develop detailed work schedules, monitor progress of ELV and related MEP installations, and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Supervise on-site ELV activities, conduct quality inspections, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related ELV field.
- Major: Specialization in ELV systems or relevant discipline.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in ELV system design, coordination, and project execution, preferably within the construction or engineering consultancy sector in the UAE/GCC region.
Skills
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ELV standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, BS) and local regulations (e.g., UAE Fire & Safety Codes, TRA guidelines).
- Proficiency in ELV design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: 11-13k, open to negotiate
