Across our farm, hatchery, slaughterhouse, processing facilities and staff accommodation, water systems must be safe, hygienic, resilient and professionally maintained at all times.We are seeking a Master Plumber who understands that in a farm which includes a food-production environment, plumbing is mission-critical.THE ROLE You will be fully responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of all plumbing and water systems across the AISB site, including:Poultry houses Hatchery operations Slaughterhouse and processing areas Staff accommodation and welfare facilitiesThis is a hands-on, high-responsibility role requiring technical expertise, preventative discipline and fast response when issues arise.Core ResponsibilitiesInstalling, maintaining and repairing:Potable water supply systemsWastewater and drainage systemsHigh-use washdown and hygiene linesMaintaining pumps, tanks, valves, filters, pressure regulators and fittings.Ensuring Uninterrupted Water Supply ToHatchery systems Slaughter and evisceration lines Washdown, sanitation and hygiene areasResponding immediately to leaks, blockages, pressure drops or contamination risks.Carrying out preventative maintenance inspections across all facilities.Identifying weak points and correcting them before failures occur.Working safely and hygienically in food-grade environments.Keeping clear, accurate maintenance and inspection records.KPIs (How Success Is Measured)Operational ReliabilityResponse time to critical issues (hatchery/slaughter): ≤ 15 minutes Issue resolution: ≥ 95% resolved same working dayPreventative MaintenanceScheduled inspections completed: 100% on time Recurring faults: ≤ 5% per quarter Preventative maintenance compliance: 100%Hygiene, Safety & ComplianceWater-related hygiene incidents: 0 tolerance Leaks or repeat failures: 0 tolerance Safety incidents related to plumbing work: 0 tolerance Compliance with food-production hygiene standards: 100%Quality & DisciplineRework due to workmanship: 0%Maintenance logs completed: 100%Work areas left clean, safe and operational: 100%Values & Behaviours (AISB Standard)Precision & CraftsmanshipWork is neat, durable and professionally finished. Keeps accurate, up-to-date maintenance records.What You BringProven experience as a Master Plumber or senior plumbing professional. Strong experience in commercial, industrial or food-production environments, as well as main line external work. Confident working with pumps, tanks, pressure systems and high-usage washdown lines. Ability to work independently with sound judgement and initiative.
