Purpose of the Role Lead the Group’s financial strategy, digital finance transformation, and AI-driven decision-making remotely across all Astrea Group entities and countries of operation. The role ensures full financial governance, ERP and automation excellence, and real-time performance visibility across construction, technical services, manufacturing, and trading divisions operating in multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and execute Group-wide financial strategies supporting global growth, profitability, and capital expansion—managed remotely across all business units. Advise the CEO and Board through virtual reporting dashboards, executive reviews, and structured financial governance frameworks. Lead multi-entity consolidation and long-term planning for UAE, Qatar, KSA, Kuwait, Jordan, India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, USA, Canada, and BVI. Ensure financial controls and reporting standards are embedded remotely across all profit centers and international locations.2. ERP, Digital Finance & AI Automation Oversee remote deployment, integration, and governance of the Group ERP ecosystem (Finance, Projects, Procurement, HR, Inventory). Drive AI-enabled automation for forecasting, cash-flow intelligence, scenario modelling, and cost-reduction analytics. Build remote BI dashboards (Power BI, Zoho, Tableau, etc.) to provide real-time P&L visibility by entity, geography, project, and business line. Define workflows, approval matrices, and role-based access controls for cloud-based ERP operation. Lead virtual training programs to achieve full ERP and AI adoption across all companies.3. Financial Management & Reporting Oversee remote accounting operations, consolidated reporting packs, and budget governance across all countries. Ensure full compliance with IFRS, VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and cross-border tax obligations. Present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews to senior management via remote dashboards and board presentations. Implement digital cost-centre and project profitability tracking across all business units.4. Treasury, Banking & Funding Manage remote relationships with UAE, regional, and international banks (e.g., EDB, ADCB, RBC, etc.). Oversee multi-currency cash flow, debt structuring, FX exposure, and liquidity planning. Deploy AI-based treasury tools for real-time cash forecasting and predictive risk assessment. Lead financial modelling for land development, factory expansion, and capex-heavy projects.5. Audit, Risk & Compliance Ensure tax, legal, and audit compliance across all jurisdictions remotely through digital controls, cloud-based audit trails, and ERP authority matrices. Maintain updated knowledge of UAE, GCC, US, Canada, and BVI taxation frameworks. Establish remote-enabled audit processes using ERP data flows and AI-driven anomaly detection. Own the Group Finance Policy Manual and ensure digital implementation across all entities. Coordinate with external auditors, advisors, and legal teams through remote cycles.6. Leadership & Remote Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop distributed finance teams across multiple time zones. Build technical capability in ERP finance, tax, BI tools, cost control, and automation. Drive high-performance culture using KPI dashboards, accountability scorecards, and structured virtual review systems.
