HR Specialist (Odoo HR System – UAE Labor Law Expert)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist with intensive, hands-on experience in the Odoo HR system and strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations, and maintaining accurate HR data through Odoo.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all HR operations using Odoo HR modules (Employees, Payroll, Attendance, Leaves, Recruitment, Contracts, Appraisals)
  • Ensure HR policies, contracts, and procedures comply with UAE Labor Law and Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE) requirements
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts (limited/unlimited), amendments, and renewals
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding in compliance with UAE regulations
  • Process payroll through Odoo, ensuring compliance with WPS (Wage Protection System)
  • Manage leave entitlements, overtime, gratuity, and end-of-service benefits as per UAE Labor Law
  • Calculate and process End of Service Gratuity accurately in Odoo
  • Maintain employee records including visas, Emirates ID, labor cards, and passports
  • Generate HR reports for management, audits, and MOHRE requirements
  • Support recruitment activities and track candidates via Odoo Recruitment
  • Coordinate with PROs and government portals (MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA) as required
  • Train staff and managers on HR processes and Odoo system usage


Skills

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience in the UAE
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Odoo HR system
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE Labor Law, WPS, and HR compliance
  • Experience handling visas, labor contracts, and government documentation
  • Strong reporting, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Odoo implementation or HR system setup
  • Knowledge of multi-company or multi-branch HR operations in the UAE
  • HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with free zone and mainland entities


Fluent in English is a must.
