The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the premium and reputed brands portfolio such as personal care, baby care, cosmetics, luxury, pharmaceutical, travel and accessories, etc.
- Managing the field sales operations and its sales and distribution process at regional level, especially with modern trade and key accounts.
- Directing and implementing the sales strategies and programs to achieve sales objectives and increase market share.
- Building, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers across a wide geographical area.
- Planning an effective go to market strategy which would optimize the business.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through more coverage, promotional activities, range extensions or merchandising changes.
- Directing and monitoring the Sales and Operations Team effectively for better performance and optimum result by increasing their sales capabilities.
- Training and managing the sales team and achieving the sales targets.
Skills
- A proven track record of at least 7 years’ experience in FMCG Industry (preferably in the similar product portfolio) within UAE.
- A strong managerial experience at the Field / Division / Regional level with hands on experience in dealing with Modern Trade, Retail Network and Key Accounts.
- Experience in sales and distribution management, strategic planning and business development functions will be required to match these roles.
- University Graduate with strong English and Arabic communication skills
- Excellent managerial skills including negotiation, presentation and team management skills
