Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager of Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. The ideal candidate must be a Sri Lankan national with 10-15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with expertise in managing hotel operations. This role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, and a customer-focused approach to ensure the hotel's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and overall operational performance.
- Manage and mentor department heads, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor budgets, manage costs, and analyze financial performance to meet revenue targets.
- Enhance guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the hotel and its services.
- Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Regularly review and update operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency.
Skills
Requirements:
- Nationality: Sri Lankan (Only female or male candidates eligible).
- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of managing hotel operations successfully.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel management systems, budgeting, and revenue management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to local cultural norms.
- Familiarity with the hospitality market in Bangladesh is an advantage.
