Overview of the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Master Technician to join the FAMCO Construction Equipment team based in DIP 2. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and repair activities on machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
The role involves both workshop and field-based duties, including inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and proactive customer support, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and technical excellence.
What you will do:
- Perform removal, installation, disassembly, and assembly of machine components including engines, transmissions, axles, and related systems
- Carry out advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and inspections to identify faults and determine effective repair solutions
- Conduct machine inspections and customer visits to support service quality and generate additional service revenue
- Ensure zero customer complaints related to behavior, attitude, or professionalism
- Manage time and resources effectively to meet deadlines and complete assigned work on time
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including job cards, service reports, and time sheets in line with ISO standards
- Support and guide junior technicians through knowledge sharing and teamwork
- Adapt to changing work requirements, technology, and operational demands while maintaining performance
- Uphold high standards of safety, housekeeping, and care of company assets and vehicles
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills on new products, systems, and procedures

What equips you for the role:
- Technical Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing heavy machinery or related equipment
- Proven experience working in both field and workshop environments
- Valid driving license
- Basic computer literacy for job reporting and documentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by operational demands
