Overview Of The Role:

• The Data Analytics Lead is pivotal in the Data and Analytics team, steering BI and analytics solutions to drive substantial value for Al Futtaim Business. The role is integral to enhancing analytics maturity across various business lines, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives. Central to the position is translating complex business requirements into actionable insights and contributing to significant transformation projects. The lead will provide thought leadership, foster a collaborative environment, and drive a team to achieve impactful analytics outcomes.

What You Will Do:

Analytics Processes and Project Management

• Deep understanding of various Analytics processes to aid businesses in transforming their processes into analytical requirements.
• Independently drive sessions to design, document, develop, implement, and test rapid prototypes that deliver data insights.
• Actively drive large-scale transformation projects, collaborating closely with project and program managers.
• Represent the data team in senior management review meetings, ensuring data strategy aligns with overall business objectives.

Business Intelligence and Data Solutions

• Define, plan, develop, and implement optimal Business Intelligence and Big Data/Lakehouse applications across multiple complex projects.
• Focus on creating reusable and scalable data and reporting assets that enhance data utility and accessibility across the organization.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications, functional specifications, and essential project documents.
• Guide internal and external teams to ensure business deliveries are completed on time.

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead and drive the team to consistently achieve project milestones on time and with the highest quality standards.
• Guide and ensure business deliveries per expectations within agile and waterfall project delivery models.
• Provide consultative thought leadership on data analytics, supporting strategic development and execution of analytics in alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Lead a competitive team and drive them to achieve key outcomes efficiently and cost-effectively.

Skills

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including design and optimization for analytics.
• Excellent analytical skills for handling unstructured datasets and extracting insights.
• Experience with stakeholder management, AI, cloud technologies, and SAP environments.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Proven track record of leading and implementing analytics transformation projects with significant business impact.
• Extensive experience with data analytics engineering and delivery using tools such as Power BI, Databricks, Alteryx, Tableau, and SAP BI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL, with expertise in Lakehouse architecture and data governance.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in developing teams and strategies, with stakeholder and vendor management experience.
