SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


Join us as a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer and take ownership of your area, ensuring maintenance keeps assets reliable, efficient, and high-quality. Collaborate with Operations to drive performance and deliver operational excellence every day.
The position is based in Dubai and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with internal and external HSEQ requirements, including ATEX standards.
  • Drive proactive maintenance to sustain and improve production capacity and quality across process, packing, and utility equipment (e.g., mixers, pumps, agitators, conveyors, filling and packing lines).
  • Plan, assign, and supervise maintenance activities to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved procedures and quality standards
  • Monitor service contractors and regularly evaluate supplier performance to ensure reliability, safety, and value.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations to improve equipment performance, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring or critical equipment failures and drive sustainable corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the Matrix Maintenance System, ensuring work order information is consistently recorded.

Qualification:


  • Required: Bachelor’s or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.


  • Required: 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the paints or chemicals industry.
