Job Description Summary:


The Coca-Cola Company, a global beverage leader with a rich history of over 136 years and a portfolio of over 200 brands worldwide, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Franchise Execution.

The Director, Franchise, Iraq serves as a key support to the Senior Director, Franchise, Iraq and acts as a primary point of contact representing the total Iraq portfolio. The role will steward the development of the brands with strong accountability for growing revenue, volume, share, and transactions.



We are looking for candidates with bottling or general management experience who can build strong relationships and execute our strategies across our system network in partnership with our bottler, CCI.



What You’ll Do for Us



  • Responsible for weekly and monthly performance management, including reporting on revenue, volume, share, and transaction metrics.



  • Monitors performance versus execution objectives, re-plans as necessary, and provides feedback to key stakeholders. Also manages discretionary budgets based on regional need.



  • Executes the commercial strategy and plans with franchise (bottling partner) owners for local market execution, in alignment with the Senior Director’s agenda.



  • Collaborates on contingency plans to deliver annual business plan performance across channels, including revenue, volume, share, net outlets, SOVI (share of visual inventory), and pricing.



  • Standardizes a common approach to capability building based on bottler segmentation.



  • Assesses local bottler commercial capabilities against established commercial strategies and objectives, identifying gaps and supporting action plans to improve capabilities.



  • Coordinates training and development to enable more effective processes, scorecards, and business routines to achieve the annual business plan.



  • Works with franchise commercial managers to steward the bi-monthly planning process, ensuring all customer plans are included.



  • Serves as the SME for Large Store, Small Store, and FSOP Channel Plans and works with respective Directors and their sales teams at the bottlers to support execution. Participates in channel planning routines.



  • Provides bottler performance feedback to Franchise Leadership, serving as the “voice of the market.”



  • Monitors market conditions and reports competitive activity to management, bottlers, and local associates to understand program effectiveness and implementation barriers.



  • Works with Commercial Managers to support the development of commercial stewardship and bi-monthly planning routines.



  • Ensures all National Retail, National Foodservice, and Regional customer plans are communicated within the planning process to support end-to-end execution.




  • Supports negotiation and resolution of bottling contracts, National Supply Chain agreements, and governance agreements, and contributes to governance routines.



Experience



  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in aoperations,Commercial, or Sales leadership role in FMCG / Retail, with experience in the Iraq or similar regional market.



  • Experience as a Business Partner with direct bottler or manufacturing exposure in the Food and Beverage industry.



  • Experience with annual business planning, forecasting, customer and distributor management, and a proven track record of delivering positive revenue results.



  • Demonstrated passion for selling, negotiating, and relationship building in an entrepreneurial environment.



  • Strong understanding of channel marketing, syndicated research, and competitive analysis.



  • Excellent relationship-building and strategic leadership skills.



  • Distributioncentreknowledge is ideal.
