Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure all arrangements are in place to execute shipments within the designated area of responsibility
- Mentor and support logistics peers, and facilitate cross‑training by sharing expertise and best practices
- Create, document, and maintain standard operating processes, applying the enterprise project‑based delivery model in day‑to‑day work
- Manage complex exceptions, lead structured problem solving, and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence
- Meet operational targets within the assigned region, transportation mode, business unit, or customer account
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, carriers, and vendors, leading calls, meetings, and system trainings, and addressing concerns promptly
- Utilize analytical methods and data insights to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and propose effective solutions
- Build and present intermediate to complex business cases that show how customers can achieve return on investment
- Collaborate with internal service teams to execute strategies that align with customer objectives and company business goals
- Lead operations‑focused continuous improvement projects using the enterprise project‑based delivery model, and direct team efforts to reconcile daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated proactivity with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experience; Composed and poised in customer‑centric settings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Prior experience creating and delivering presentations to senior‑level management
- Skilled at gathering, translating, and acting on customer feedback
- Experience directing the activities of a small work group
- Demonstrated strengths in adaptability, critical thinking, data analysis, and efficient, accurate problem solving
- Proven track record identifying patterns in operations and data
- Project management experience across varied project sizes
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, including identifying inefficiencies and implementing process enhancements
- Ability to motivate others, encourage change, and drive positive results in a fast‑paced, large, and dispersed organization
