Review of credit processes, procedures, MIS, systems and policies for all Retail Credit units with a view to provide assurance from quality perspective. The objective is to recognize and surface any unrecognized risk and recommend as well as ensure implementation of appropriate corrective steps.
Ensure process reviews are conducted at agreed frequency as per calendar to ensure ‘Satisfactory’ audit rating for all departments in Retail Credit.
Ensure regulatory adherence and timely reporting.
Timely release of dashboards and reports to internal stakeholders.
Conduct credit policy assessment across Retail Credit Initiation with help from MLS. In addition, centralize financial & non-financial authority delegations of Retail Credit officials.
Establish cordial working relationships with relevant internal customers to understand roles and develop mutual understanding in order to facilitate communication and their acceptance on the review findings.
Review audit reports to be the focal point for smooth performance of audits and examinations with a view to implement better controls.
Review of high-risk activities to ensure controls are not breached in line with approved sampling criteria.
Ensure adherence of Operational risk management guidelines for all Retail Credit units.
Advance data mining skills and knowledge of reporting skills.
