Location: Grove Mall @ Al Barsha, Dubai, UAE We are seeking a licensed Physiotherapist with a strong interest in movement, exercise therapy, flexibility, and functional performance, rather than acute or post-surgical rehabilitation.
This role sits at the intersection of clinical assessment, insurance-based physiotherapy services, exercise delivery, and patient engagement.
The Physiotherapist will conduct structured assessment sessions for different patient cohorts, deliver approved insurance sessions, lead exercise-based sessions in our gym facility, and actively contribute to service growth through appropriate upselling and cross-referrals.
The role requires both clinical competence and commercial awareness, with an understanding of insurance coding, approvals, and clinic workflows.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessments & Program Design: Conduct physiotherapy assessment sessions for various patient cohorts (e.
g. diabetes, metabolic health, weight management) to identify musculoskeletal dysfunction, postural issues, flexibility and mobility limitations.
Assess movement patterns, joint mobility, muscular balance, flexibility, and functional capacity.
Develop individualized movement and exercise plans focused on: Strength, mobility, flexibility, and functional performance Injury prevention and movement optimization Lifestyle-integrated physical activity Clearly document findings and recommendations in the clinic’s EMR.
Insurance-Based Physiotherapy Services: Support the team in: Understanding applicable insurance physiotherapy codes Preparing documentation required for insurance approvals Aligning clinical assessments with payer requirements Deliver physiotherapy sessions approved under insurance, ensuring: Compliance with coding and documentation standards Clear clinical justification for ongoing sessions Work closely with coordinators and operations teams to ensure smooth patient journeys and minimal claim rejections.
Exercise & Gym-Based Sessions: Conduct structured exercise sessions using the clinic’s gym facilities.
Deliver both: Clinically-oriented exercise sessions linked to physiotherapy care plans Performance, mobility, and flexibility-focused exercise sessions Ensure sessions are safe, goal-oriented, and aligned with each patient’s clinical and lifestyle needs.
Adapt exercise intensity and programming based on patient progress and engagement.
Upselling & Cross-Referral Responsibilities: Actively identify opportunities to: Upsell additional physiotherapy or exercise sessions Transition patients from insurance-covered care to cash-based exercise or performance packages where appropriate Educate patients on the value of continued movement-based care beyond their approved sessions.
Cross-refer patients to other relevant clinic services and products, including: Exercise coaching Lifestyle or metabolic programs Diagnostic or allied health services Approved clinic products and wellness offerings Maintain a professional, ethical, and patient-centered approach to upselling.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, exercise coaches, lifestyle coaches, dietitians, and operations teams.
Contribute to integrated care pathways where physiotherapy, exercise, and medical oversight intersect.
Participate in case discussions and contribute to optimizing patient outcomes and retention.
Understands, follows and supports all hospital infection control programs to ensure patient and staff safety.
Qualifications & Requirements: Mandatory: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution Valid Physiotherapy license (DHA / HAAD / MOH or eligibility to obtain) 2–3 years of clinical experience as a practicing Physiotherapist Strong knowledge of: Exercise therapy Movement assessment Mobility and flexibility training Comfort working in a gym or exercise-based environment Excellent communication skills (English), Arabic a plus Preferred: Experience working with insurance-based physiotherapy services Familiarity with physiotherapy coding and payer approval processes Exposure to wellness, lifestyle medicine, or performance-focused settings Interest in preventive care, long-term engagement, and patient retention Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and patient education skills Strong documentation and organizational abilities Commercial awareness and confidence discussing care plans and follow-on services Ability to motivate patients and drive adherence to exercise programs Team-oriented mindset with accountability for outcomes What We Offer: A dynamic, multidisciplinary clinical environment Access to modern gym and assessment facilities Opportunity to expand beyond traditional physiotherapy into exercise and wellness care Exposure to insurance workflows and revenue-generating care models Career growth within an integrated, data-driven healthcare organization
