Technical Skills:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced studies in system design or architecture preferred.* 8+ years of software development experience using Java, including 3+ years supporting or leading software architecture initiatives.* Strong understanding of architectural design principles, scalability, availability, and secure engineering practices.* Experience with cloud concepts, microservices, and modern software development methodologies.* Familiarity with distributed systems, Dev Ops principles, and containerization approaches.* Knowledge of financial systems, fintech platforms, and secure coding practices for regulated environments.
Responsibilities:* Design and evolve software architecture for complex, large‑scale financial systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and platform requirements.* Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to guide architectural implementation and technical decision‑making.* Conduct technology evaluations and research to improve system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.* Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing high‑quality coding standards and best practices.* Prepare and maintain architectural documentation, patterns, and guidelines for engineering teams.* Stay updated on architectural frameworks, design patterns, and emerging technologies relevant to financial platforms.
