Sealy Mattress Middle East is actively seeking a skilled General Accountant to enhance our finance team.
In this position, you will be instrumental in supporting the company's financial operations by managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, has strong problem-solving abilities, and is passionate about accounting.
Responsibilities Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
Process accounts payable and receivable, overseeing the preparation and distribution of invoices.
Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes to meet deadlines.
Prepare detailed documentation for audits and support external auditors with required reports.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely accounting practices.
Private Health Insurance Training & Development Performance Bonus Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
At least 4 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Indian or Pakistani national, currently residing in UAE.
