What We're Looking For:

Experience & Expertise

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining Calypso systems across various asset classes including Fixed Income, Money Market, Interest Rates, FX, and Credit Derivatives
• Deep knowledge of Calypso architecture, modules, APIs (minimum V15.2), and front-to-back implementation, including risk management systems with ERS, Limits, and VaR
• Proven experience working on risk management systems such as ERS, with a focus on Limit and VaR setups

Technical Prowess

• Strong Java development skills (Java 1.7 or higher), with expertise in OOPS, Collections, and Multithreading
• Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL and understanding of Calypso's data model
• Experience with application servers like JBoss and build tools such as Gradle
• Hands-on experience with Open API integrations and network/server-level troubleshooting
• Knowledge of trade and market data interfaces, including Bloomberg SAPI, TOMS, Reuters feed, and Deal Tracker

Functional Acumen

• Extensive experience in trading platform analysis and system implementation
• In-depth understanding of Fixed Income, FX Derivatives, Interest Rate, and Credit Derivatives
• Familiarity with ERS limit and VaR setup, and market data configurations within Calypso
• Solid grasp of P&L and accounting setups, back-office operations, and position configuration

Educational Background

• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience

Soft Skills & Leadership

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and presenting ideas to senior leadership
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
