A well-renowned architectural and engineering consultancy based in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join its growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated designer with strong technical and project delivery experience to work on high-quality residential and high-end interior projects across Dubai.
The Role The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for managing full-cycle interior design projects, from concept development through to construction, site coordination, and handover. The role requires a hands-on designer who is technically strong, commercially aware, and confident working independently while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and deliver interior design projects from concept to completion
- Prepare and review detailed interior drawings, technical packages, and specifications
- Coordinate closely with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities
- Manage authority submissions and approvals (Dubai Municipality, DCD, developers, etc.)
- Oversee material selection, finishes, FF&E, and technical detailing
- Attend site meetings, conduct site inspections, and support construction and handover stages
- Ensure designs meet local regulations, budgets, timelines, and client expectations
Requirements - Minimum 5+ years of professional interior design experience in Dubai
- Strong knowledge of Dubai authorities, codes, and approval processes (DM, DCD, developer guidelines)
- Proven experience delivering residential and high-end interior projects
- Solid background in design development, technical detailing, and site coordination
- Ability to manage consultants, contractors, and suppliers effectively
- Experience with material specifications, finishes, and budget control
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArchiCAD (Revit is a plus); understanding of 3D workflows is advantageous
