MEP Associate Director to handle a range of commercial and contractual tasks for pre & post contract. Managing a team and growing its capability to meet market needs.
Based from the
Dubai Head office you will be managing a commercial team of cost engineers handling pricing and quantity surveyors managing post contract on site.
Have you worked for a well known & reputable International Consultancy.
We are seeking someone that can client face , deal with complex technical
MEP packages, look at benchmarking rates, answer specific technical trade questions, handle early stage estimations / bid information.
You will be able to add value from Data Centers, High End Residential, Hotels, Commercial & Shopping Malls. You will be able to provide insights & costs for Developers & End Clients

You will be handling an MEP Commercial Team of various levels & nationalities.
Can you and the team deliver an effective cost management service from pre contract to handover? Our client is after someone that can add value and take clear accountability on the following tasks
- Experience of pre-contract services from feasibility through to tendering, measurement of building works for estimating, report writing and preparation of Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
- Procuring, negotiating & driving the Design & Build Process
- Commercial & Contracts experience of: post-contract services, interim applications, change management, variation valuation and extension of time claims
- FIDIC contract experience in the UAE
- Confident - able to client face and present at all times
- Full 360 experience of bid, cost plan and commercial final account
- Managing & mentoring your MEP & QS team
Non - Negotiables - Degree in Quantity Surveying (Needed for client sign off)
- Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience
- UAE experience essential in a Consultancy capacity
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as procurement routes, value management & value engineering
- Knowledge of CostX + BIM needed
