We’re seeking a dedicated and highly skilled professional to join our Global Security team in a leadership role. As the Regional Security Manager, you’ll take the helm of physical security for a vibrant and diverse global region, collaborating with influential leaders in a dynamic, matrixed environment. You’ll spearhead key Global Security initiatives that elevate our security standards, ensuring our patients, employees, and assets are protected in a safe and resilient environment. In this pivotal role, the Regional Security Manager (RSM) champions the regional security program, ensuring seamless alignment with our corporate objectives and business strategy. You’ll integrate security practices across all business units, delivering comprehensive protection for Medtronic’s tangible and intangible assets. Your responsibilities will span travel security, physical security design, executive protection, crisis response, incident management, workplace violence prevention, threat assessment and mitigation, risk assessment, investigations, education and training, and fostering a robust security culture. As RSM, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding our people and our Mission.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


·Lead and oversee day-to-day regional security operations


·Develop and execute regional goals aligned with Global Physical Security (GPS) initiatives


·Drive and implement regional security plans to address threats and vulnerability


·Design and deliver training to enhance preparedness and employee awareness


·Oversee and conduct investigations into threats, incidents, and workplace violence cases


·Monitor regional threats/disruptions and implement mitigation strategies


·Provide guidance on security standards, practices, and programs to support global initiatives


·Collaborate internally and externally to resolve complex regional security issues


Required Knowledge and Experience:


·5+ years with a bachelor’s or 3+ years with an advanced degree


·Previous Security Manager experience; extensive leadership background


·Deep expertise in operational, physical, travel, and crisis security management


·Strong background in investigations, reporting, and incident management


·Strategic and operational thinker; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills


·Skilled in conflict resolution, crisis response, and complex issue management
