About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician - Mason to join Jumeirah Al Qasr.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Carry out masonry repairs such as fixing cracks, damaged walls, tiles, plaster, and concrete surfaces.
Perform preventive maintenance on building structures to ensure guest areas and back-of-house spaces remain safe and well maintained.
Support renovation and refurbishment projects, including minor construction works, waterproofing, and surface finishing.
Respond to maintenance requests from hotel departments promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, using proper tools, materials, and procedures while maintaining a clean work area.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in masonry work, preferably in hotels or large facilities.
Vocational training or technical certification in masonry, construction, or a related trade.
Good knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work independently with flexible shifts
High school certificate as a minimum education qualification, with any relevant technical diploma preferred.
