As a Junior Consultant Pediatric Surgeon, you will assist in diagnosing surgical conditions, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality pediatric care.
You will also engage with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the treatment process.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the evaluation and assessment of pediatric patients requiring surgical intervention.
Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior surgeons.
Contribute to the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the surgical team.
Provide postoperative care and monitor patients during their recovery.
Engage with families to explain surgical procedures and postoperative care instructions.
Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and educational activities to enhance professional development.
Stay updated with advancements in pediatric surgery through continuous learning and participation in relevant training.

Qualifications: M.
D. or D.O. degree with completion of a residency in general surgery.
Interest in pursuing a fellowship in pediatric surgery (or currently enrolled in a fellowship program).
Active medical license in the respective state.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desire for professional growth and active participation in continuing medical education.
