Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong NDT Supervisor to lead and manage Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising inspection activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining documentation, and guiding inspection teams to deliver accurate and reliable results.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate all NDT inspection activities at site or workshop.
Plan and assign inspection tasks to technicians as per project schedules.
Ensure proper execution of NDT methods such as UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, and other applicable techniques.
Review and approve inspection procedures, techniques, and test plans.
Monitor compliance with client specifications, international codes, and quality standards.
Interpret test results and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Verify calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
Ensure safety procedures and quality policies are strictly followed.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams, engineers, and project managers.
Conduct training and technical guidance for junior inspectors and technicians.
Handle client inspections, audits, and third-party inspections.
Maintain proper documentation and inspection records.
Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Support project completion within quality and time targets.
Essential QualificationsDiploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Engineering or related field.
Certified NDT Level II / Level III (as per ASNT / ISO / PCN or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in NDT inspection and supervision.
Strong knowledge of applicable standards such as ASME, ASTM, AWS, ISO, API, etc.
Valid certification in multiple NDT methods (preferred).
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
Proficiency in UT, RT, MT, PT, VT and advanced NDT techniques.
Strong understanding of welding inspection and material testing.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of quality control systems and inspection procedures.
