A Contracts Manager is responsible for managing all contract-related activities from pre contracts until project completion, ensuring the company is protected commercially and legally.

  Key Responsibilities:   Experience to lead contractual and commercial management of new and ongoing construction contracts (pre-award to close-out).
Have decent knowledge of draft, review, and negotiate contract terms, LOIs, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements.
Exposure to administer contracts under FIDIC (Red/Yellow Book), including notices, claims, variations, and entitlements.
Excellent with managing and responding to contractual correspondence (letters, notices, determinations, VO instructions).
Familiar with review, assess, and negotiate variations, EOTs, and claims with contractors and consultants.
Oversee payment certifications, interim valuations, final accounts.
Supervise and mentor QS teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate closely with Procurement, Site, Design, and Finance teams to manage risk and delivery.
Have decent exposure to support tendering, sub-contractor appointments, and commercial strategy for new projects.
Identify, manage, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks across the portfolio.
Requirements:   Minimum 10+ years’ experience with reputable contractors and/or developers in the UAE or GCC Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
