We're seeking a Junior Payments Executive to support our payments operations and help deliver seamless payment experience for our customers. Key responsibilities:
•Operations Support – Assist with daily payments operations, transaction monitoring, and issue resolution
•Reporting & Analysis – Prepare regular reports on payment performance metrics (success rates, declines, chargebacks)
•Reconciliation – Support payment reconciliation processes and investigate discrepancies
•Vendor Coordination – Liaise with payment providers and processors on operational matters
•Customer Queries – Help resolve payment-related customer issues in collaboration with support teams
•Compliance Support – Assist with maintaining PCI-DSS compliance and documentation
•Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors
•Project Support – Contribute to payments projects such as new payment method launches or system upgrades
Skills
Requirements:
•0–2 years of experience in payments, finance, operations, banking, exchange or a related field
•Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
•Good communication skills – written and verbal
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
•Eagerness to learn and grow in the payments industry
Preferred Qualification:
•Exposure to payment systems, gateways, or financial operations
•Familiarity with payment methods (cards, bank transfers, digital wallets)
•Basic understanding of payment terminology (authorization, settlement, chargebacks)
•Experience with data tools (SQL, BI tools) is a plus but not required
