Position Title
Senior BIM Architect / Senior BIM Coordinator / Senior BIM Specialist
Role Overview
- Lead BIM implementation across projects and teams
- Oversee model development, coordination, and quality control from design through construction
- Act as the main BIM authority, ensuring standards, efficiency, and best practices are followed
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage BIM models (LOD 300–500) for complex projects
- Define, implement, and enforce BIM standards and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
- Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models and lead clash resolution processes
- Review and audit BIM models for accuracy, compliance, and quality
- Guide and mentor junior BIM team members
- Lead BIM coordination meetings with consultants and contractors
- Ensure timely model updates aligned with project milestones
- Support design and construction teams with advanced BIM workflows and solutions
Required Skills & Software
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit (Architecture)
- Advanced experience with Navisworks Manage (clash detection & coordination)
- Strong knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Solid understanding of BIM standards, LOD, and information management
- Ability to extract high-quality drawings, schedules, and quantities from models
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- 7+ years of BIM experience, with leadership or coordination responsibilities
- Proven experience on large-scale or complex projects
- Regional / UAE experience (preferred, if applicable)
