Oversee the recruitment process to acquire suitable crew members for various vessels in alignment with budgetary and company policies.
Review and verify crew qualifications and documentation prior to their onboarding and hiring process.
Coordinate the entire crew cycle, from recruitment and mobilization to sign-on, monitoring performance, sign-off, and repatriation procedures.
Ensure all pre-joining, post-joining, and off-signing formalities adhere to documentation and company requirements.
Maintain and update crew personal files and records using the company's database and shared drive.
Validate crew documents to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Implement effective crew changes for the company's fleet in a timely manner.
Prepare employment contracts for crew members as required.
Coordinate with preferred manning agencies following established procedures and requirements.
Assist the crewing manager with crew staff management and regulatory compliance.
Manage day-to-day crewing functions to align with HR policies and procedures.
Collaborate with various departments to streamline crew planning and logistics.
Engage with operations, PRO, and HSQE to handle personnel matters, government regulations, and medical claims.
Generate and maintain crew lists and reports for review by the crewing manager.
Facilitate vessel visits in compliance with company guidelines.
Focus on maintaining high crew retention rates within a competitive environment.
Submit weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports as required.
Manage payroll processes for crew members on board the vessels.
Handle SAP/VIM coding and follow up on invoice payments.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education.
At least 5 years of experience in crewing or a similar role, with a track record of responsibility.
In-depth understanding of crewing operations in regions like the Middle East, India, and Africa.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations, conventions, and laws applicable to the marine industry.
