Job Details

Job Purpose:


The job holder willbe responsible for the implementation of corporate VDC and BIM processes during  design, construction, and handover of assigned projects


Key Accountabilities 


  • Ensure compliance with DHRE VDC & BIM processes, standards, and protocols, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into every stage of the project.


  • Supervise the application of VDC & BIM technologies and methodologies throughout each stage of the project.


  • Communicate with relevant project stakeholders and optimize workflows to enhance overall project efficiency through the use of advanced VDC & BIM technologies.


  • Produce BIM progress reports and manage data deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Manage the project’s BIM scope to meet the different BIM KPIs, maintain model integrity, and support collaborative workflows.


  • Manage external consultants and contractors during the implementation of VDC & BIM to ensure seamless digital coordination.


  • Review received BIM deliverables and conduct audits, clash detections, and quality control reviews.


  • Provide hands-on BIM training and mentorship to project teams.


  • Evaluate and implement new digital tools to enhance project delivery.


Qualifications, Experiences 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction/ Architecture/ Engineering; Master's degree preferred


  • BIM Certification


  • Knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, National VDC & BIM Standards) and industry best practices.


  • 8 -12 years' experience in the construction industry; preferably working with experienced developers, consultants, or Project Management Consultants


  • Experience in setting and implementing BIM & Digital Construction process.


  • Experience working with consultants in identifying and resolving BIM model quality issues and clash detection.


  • Experience in 3D, 4D, SD, and 6D BIM


Job Specific Skills:


  • Proficiency in BIM/VDC tools including Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, Power BI and BIM 360/ACC.


  • Strong project planning, coordination, and review skills.


  • Solid understanding of construction methods and digital workflows.


  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and reporting skills. 


  • Strong leadership, problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities 


  • Adaptability to new technologies and evolving industry trends.
