We are hiring for one of our clients, a fast-growing agri-focused international trading company working across seeds, fertilizers, and crop-input solutions, expanding aggressively into new MEA markets.
Were looking for a hands-on Commercial & Business Development Manager — a true business builder who understands long sales cycles and knows how to open markets from scratch.
This is a trading + market-entry role at its core, owning the full A–Z journey: registrations, distributor onboarding, negotiations, and deal closure.
What You'll Do
Drive Long-Term Growth
Identify, vet, and onboard distributors/agents across Middle East & Africa.
Handle Market Groundwork
Manage product registrations and paperwork while finding commercial shortcuts (e.g., partners with existing registrations) to accelerate early sales.
Strict Compliance & Partner Vetting
Ensure all partners are legitimate, financially sound, and operate through standard legal banking channels.
End-to-End Execution
Research markets, draft outreach emails, negotiate terms, and follow up persistently until deals close — owning the entire commercial cycle.
What Were Looking For
- 5+ years of international trading / commodities / B2B sales experience
- Background in agrochemicals, fertilizers, seeds, or agri-commodities is a strong plus
- Proven success opening new MEA markets from scratch
- Comfortable with long sales cycles & delayed revenue models
- Highly self-sufficient (can manage emails, documents, and outreach independently)
- Strong spoken & written English
