Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Organization Design and Workforce Planning engagements and/or multiple workstreams, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Manage client relationships day-to-day, including senior stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, and expectation management.
- Drive organization design solutioning: define design principles, develop and evaluate structure options, refine governance and decision rights, and oversee role profiling.
- Lead strategic workforce planning and shaping initiatives including demand/supply modelling, capacity planning, skills/capability planning, and scenario analysis.
- Oversee data-driven analysis, benchmarking, and synthesis of insights into clear recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
- Plan and facilitate workshops with client leadership; structure discussions to achieve alignment and decisions.
- Own project governance including work planning, resourcing, budget tracking inputs, RAID management, and reporting to engagement leadership.
- Lead development of high-quality client deliverables (reports, dashboards, and presentations) with strong story lining and executive clarity.
- Coach, mentor, and performance-manage team members; allocate tasks effectively and ensure development and wellbeing of the team.
- Lead business development inputs including proposal structuring, writing, reviewing, and preparing pitch materials; contribute to account growth activities.
- Contribute to practice development by developing methodologies, tools, and thought leadership assets for Organization Design and Workforce Planning.
Professional Experience and Requirements
- 6-8 years of consulting experience, with significant experience leading Organization Design and/or Workforce Planning engagements end-to-end.
- Prior Big 4 consulting experience is mandatory, including team leadership and delivery of complex, client-facing advisory engagements.
- Proven experience designing target organizations and governance, conducting spans/layers and role clarity diagnostics, and producing role/structure artefacts.
- Proven experience developing strategic workforce plans and models, including scenarios, capacity and capability planning, and workforce transition approaches.
- Strong engagement management capability, including planning, resourcing, quality assurance, and managing delivery risks and dependencies.
- Strong commercial and client management acumen, including contribution to proposals and supporting engagement economics.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership behaviours aligned to firm standards, including coaching, accountability, and collaboration.
Educational Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage (e.g., organization design, workforce analytics, project/program management, change management).
