Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is an exclusive beachside resort located in the west crescent of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. Inspired by the palaces of the Ottoman Empire, the resort is home to the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, a curated selection of restaurants, and family-friendly experiences. Guests can also enjoy water sports, with a private jetty offering shuttle boat transfers to and from the mainland of Dubai.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Marketing & Communications to join Jumeirah Zabeel Saray


The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: 


    • Execution of strategic marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives, ensuring coherence with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
    • Development and execution of fully robust integrated Marketing & Communications strategies within luxury resort environments, seamlessly aligning brand positioning, performance marketing, public relations, partnerships, and experiential programming to drive commercial performance across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Lifestyle verticals.
    • Own and strategically steward the annual marketing budget, ensuring disciplined financial management, cost control, and continuous optimization of return on investment. Allocate resources effectively across brand, digital, PR, and partnership initiatives to maximize commercial impact while operating within approved budget parameters.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, cultivating a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and luxury brand excellence. Provide strategic direction, coaching, and succession planning to support individual growth and long-term organizational capability building.
    • Lead strategic corporate stakeholder and owner relations from a Marketing and PR standpoint, ensuring full transparency, alignment on investment priorities, and clear performance reporting to support both brand integrity and revenue objectives.
    • Articulate marketing strategies, priorities, and performance outcomes with clarity and authority to senior leadership, ownership, cross-functional departments, and external partners. Ensure alignment across stakeholders through structured communication, transparent reporting, and data-driven storytelling.
    • Act as the Brand Ambassador and custodian of Jumeirah’s identity, championing the integrity, consistency, and evolution of the brand across all touchpoints. Proactively monitor, guide, and implement Jumeirah’s brand standards to ensure seamless alignment with the Brand Visual Standards Guidelines (VSG), Luxury Service Guidelines (LSG), and Property Style Guidelines (PSG).
    • Spearhead the strategic development and execution of high-impact brand partnership events that elevate brand equity, expand market reach, and drive measurable commercial returns, leveraging established industry relationships and influential market connections to unlock premium collaboration opportunities

About you: 


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Audio-Visual Production, or a related field.
  • 10 years’ experience in ultra-luxury hospitality marketing and communications, with a strong record of brand growth and market impact.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including managing and developing teams of 10+ professionals across diverse functions.
  • Comprehensive expertise in digital marketing, media relations, and budget management to drive performance and ROI.
  • In-depth understanding of local and international media landscapes, with established industry relationships.
