In this vital role, you will assess and treat patients with physical impairments stemming from injuries or medical conditions, helping them to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting personalized rehabilitation plans and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities: Perform detailed evaluations of patients to determine their rehabilitation needs and set achievable treatment goals.
Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs that utilize therapeutic exercise, pain management techniques, and assistive technology as needed.
Continuously assess and monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans based on evolving patient needs.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and physicians, to deliver coordinated care.
Educate patients and their families about recovery processes, rehabilitation options, and self-management strategies.
Stay current with the latest advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation practice through ongoing education and training.
Contribute to clinical research or quality improvement initiatives to enhance rehabilitation services.
Ensure accurate and compliant documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.

O.) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.
Active and unencumbered medical license in the practice state.
At least 5 years of experience in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Proven ability to assess and manage a variety of physical disabilities and conditions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field.
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
