Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.




The Role

As a Data Science & AI Intern – Customer Experience Insights, you will support a strategic initiative to transform how Customer Experience (CX) data is consolidated, analyzed and used across the GM Middle East network. You will work on integrating multiple siloed CX data sources and applying data science and AI techniques to generate insights, recommended actions and improved visibility for field teams and dealers. This internship offers the opportunity to work on an end-to-end analytics project, from understanding complex data landscapes to building AI‑enabled insight capabilities. You will collaborate with CX, Digital and cross-functional partners, contributing to a future-state analytics framework with real business impact.




What You’ll Do

  • Map and document existing CX data sources, including formats, frequency, quality and ownership 


  • Acquire, clean and standardize data from multiple systems to build consolidated datasets or structured data models 


  • Develop repeatable workflows for data refresh, maintenance and governance compliance 


  • Analyze merged datasets to uncover trends, correlations and key CX drivers, and identify actionable insights for sales and service performance 


  • Build dashboards, visualizations and insight summaries for internal stakeholders, field teams and dealer leadership 


  • Apply AI and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., clustering, predictive modeling, anomaly detection) to interrogate CX data 


  • Support development of natural‑language or AI‑assisted “ask the data” capabilities and document methodologies, assumptions and model outputs 


  • Prepare project updates, present key findings and contribute to a scalable future-state CX analytics framework 


Your Skills & Abilities

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics or a related field 


  • Strong foundational knowledge of data manipulation and working with structured datasets 


  • Experience with machine learning concepts or AI tools (such as LLMs, NLP, clustering or predictive models) 


  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or similar) 


  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear insights and recommended actions 


  • Strong communication, problem‑solving and documentation skills 


  • Curiosity and a willingness to explore and simplify complex information 


What Will Give You A Competitive Edge

  • Exposure to LLM‑based analysis or prompt engineering 


  • Understanding of data governance and privacy considerations 


  • Ability to work independently and manage structured workstreams or mini‑projects 


  • Prior experience applying data science or AI to real business or CX-related problems
